Sasha, our adorable bubble of energy, seems less excited than usual today.  Outside, the sky is covered with gray clouds and the rain falls softly, turning the world into a gray painting.  The wind blows gently, bringing with it a piercing chill.

Sasha usually jumps for joy at the word "ride", wagging her tail so fast she looks like she's going to take off.  Today, however, her large, round eyes look with some sadness towards the window.

Not even her favorite toy can entice her to get off the couch.  He nestles deep in the fluffy blanket, his muzzle tucked between his paws, and seems to be dreaming of sunnier days.

Who could blame her? 

Sasha, usually so cheerful, today seems embraced by an unexpected melancholy.

   The rain patters monotonously on the window, and Sasha lazily stretches her paws on the couch.
   The soft and warm sofa is the perfect refuge for such a gloomy day.
